I met a man and I began with trust.
I met a woman and I began with trust.
I met another woman and I still began with trust.
Each of them was a delight to text with and the friendships began, separately. One month went by. Two months came and ended with dismay, as each of them broke their promises to me. Promises that I would make enough money to help my family and pay growing daily expenses. All these came at a cost. I had lost large amounts of deposits not realized and these were my life savings.
Though all these happened, my husband, daughter, and I are balanced. We decided to make lunch and optioned spaghetti – mom’s favorite; instant noodles – daughter’s favorite; and, sardines and tomatoes and onions – dad’s knows mom’s choice. So with these choices, we decided on spaghetti – mom would cook; garlic bread, to go with – dad’s making for daughter; and fried eggs – dad’s favorite to go with spaghetti. The food is cooking on the stove!
So, though all these happened, I still begin with trust but with forgiveness that seems to be prevalent in these encounters of broken promises.

Besides, these people are good people. It is just the devil that tries to divide us. Our friendships are intact and I believe they will be long lasting. A priest once told me there are treasures that moths and rust cannot destroy. These treasures are my family and friends.
Finally, so I now begin with trust adding forgiveness in relationships.
