The day started off at 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday. I woke up somber and regretful about the scams that happened to me from February 2023 to December 2023. Truthfully, minutes after waking up, I just wanted to go back to sleep.
My Catholic faith teaches sloth is a capital sin, so I fought mentally and physically to head in the other direction towards God’s will for me. Surprisingly, I called a friend who shared that he was just thinking of me. (That’s nice!)
My sloth went away after the call. It is 2:39 p.m. Today, for the remainder of the day, I have a whole host of things to do. I was able to move forward, from being scammed.
