As a grateful writer to my readers, I recommend this 45:08 minutes YouTube video The Purpose of Evangelization. This is a forum of the type of sources I listen to and learn from.
This is what I got from this video. . .
The eagerness I wanted to get to this blog makes me happy. Now, be aware that now that you the reader, are with the Lord wherever you go.
. . .If you are in poverty, “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.” Luke 6:20
. . .If you are chaste, chastity is no longer for the religious, priests, nuns, monks, and bishops, it is for the laity, too. Being chaste means willing the good of the other.
. . .Obedience. I had once disobeyed my spiritual director and he said, “Jesus was obedient until death.”
. . .I realized, that I again was not obedient because I had promised the Lord that I would write about God in my life. In my writing, I began getting addicted to the honor the readers gave me. I was praising myself and not God as I had originally started off. Bishop Robert Barron pointed this out, in his words. When I realized this, my mind’s focus (as a person struggling with mental illness) became clear. I had been bathing in despair for a while. I cried and asked for forgiveness and asked Him to guide me. Instantly, my despair and torment in my mind became no more.
From now, I am to always praise God and do His will. My niece has mental illness and I am going to help her understand her mental illness, so that she may find happiness that is not just relative but true happiness.
So, I recommend the reader to watch the video and see what you get from it.
