How does God answer your prayers?

God follows through with . . .

YES, and

LATER, and

I HAVE SOMETHING BETTER

Thirty years ago, my mother and sister asked me to start a journal.  The purpose of the journal was simply to capture my thoughts.  I started, then stopped, then started again many times over.  All that time, I felt the need to write down my life experiences.  At around that same time, I became ill with mental illness after a bad breakup with a boyfriend.

It was not until 14 years later I met my current husband.  I kept writing in my journal.  I had been making many wrong choices in life.  Then, through my husband, I turned to God about my writing.  All at the same time, I began writing about God, thinking about God, and praying to God.  I realized the more I wrote, the more I felt a purpose for my writing.  So, I prayed, “Lord, instill in me what you want me to do with my writing.”

In 2019, He answered, “YES!”  (The first of my Lord’s answers to my prayer.)  I became focused on wanting to tell my story to help others suffering from mental illness, depression, and anxiety.  I became focused on wanting to share my experiences with this community.  By July 2019, I published my first book, Random Thoughts.  Then, I prayed, “Lord, where do you want me to go from here?”

He answered, “LATER (you will find out)!”  (The second of my Lord’s answers to my prayer.)  At that moment, I felt the strong sense of creating a series of books with subtitles named with random thoughts. Then, in 2020, I published my second book, Random Thoughts on Gratefulness.  Then, in 2021, I published my third book, Random Thoughts on Love.  I praised God and prayed, “Where now Lord?”

He said, “I HAVE SOMETHING BETTER!”  (The third of my Lord’s answer to my prayer.)  At that moment, I felt the strong sense to begin blogging about God in my life.  After over a year of blogging, I was able to reach a community that needed to hear what a person with a mental disorder had to say about various experiences in life.

Thirty years ago up to now, I went and go through many trials and tribulations.  So, I continued to pray and to talk to God.  As I have said in my blogs, Jesus is always the answer (I learned this from my daughter).  Today I have concluded that praying is effective and the only way for me.

Reader, please note that to seek God’s help in your lifetime is also to be able to be open to receive a YES or LATER, or I HAVE SOMETHING BETTER from Him.  Persevere in your prayers.

I do believe all the ideas you have offered on your post. They are very convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for newbies. May you please lengthen them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.|

thank you for bringing this up! My writing is brief for a purpose. I write about things that work for me to share and initiate thinking on the part of the readers in the community. What works for me does not necessarily work for others. I try to stay away from telling readers what to do to reach a relatively happy life. Truthfully, I provide 7%. The reader needs to provide 93%.

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks|
