I dreamt of you tonight.  You are lonely. . .that is all I got.  I have no inkling about why you are lonely but that is not important.  What is important in my dream is that you are reading these blogs and coming to the realization that only God can heal your loneliness.

When I am lonely, I have self-pity although I do not know it at the time.  I told my daughter last night that every time I go to bed, I feel a little lonely.  She said, “Do not be lonely because God is with you.”  She is wise and she is right.  God is with me, because the very moment she reminded me, I felt a grey cloud lift from above me.

My point is if you are lonely, imagine God sitting by your bedside.  Talk to him in prayer.  Thank him for giving you another day whether it was beautiful or not.  Mean what you say in your prayer that when you sleep, ask for the intercessor of dreams, our St Joseph, to have a peaceful dream.  Mean what you say in your prayer that when you wake up, you will say good morning to the Blessed Virgin Mary, to our Father, to Jesus, to the Holy Spirit, to Saint Michael the Archangel and your Guardian Angel.  It is okay that you do not know our Father because He knew you from when you were born.  Mean what you say in your prayer that when you wake up, you will try to be in the present all day – be thankful for waking up, enjoy your breakfast (which hopefully is not a microwaved breakfast), enjoy your morning walk listening to the birds, saying good morning to other morning walkers, smiling . . .  May you be fruitful as the Lord says,

And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”

Genesis 1:28

Be fruitful and bring your interior happiness to all.  Go fishing perhaps and thank God for creating fish of the sea.  Go even to church and sit silently to talk to God. Help someone in need (is the best for me). Pray for him or her. Be there when they need someone to help them to be accountable to the Faith.

It is important that all the while, don’t forget to thank God for everything.  He alleviates your loneliness because you have asked and He loves you.  Use the free will, he gifts you wisely.

Do not despair anymore.  You have sought the Lord and He will always be with you.
