This book was compiled by the Word On Fire Catholic Ministry, written by the Reverend Bishop Barron to help the Eucharistic Revival.  It is really complete and good!

I can only add what I believe that is in my heart:

The Host is the Body of Christ because Jesus said so, in the Bible.  Look it up! (John 6:35)  “I am the bread of life.  Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

So, the Host. . .Jesus said it. . .it follows that the Host is the Body because God asked Jesus to give up His Life, His body.  His body was (you do know what happened, right?).  Jesus died and before His cruel and manevolent crucifixion, there was the Passover where He gave bread and said “This is my Body. . .”

The transubstantiation transforms the host into His Body again, reenacting the Passover (before death) and His death, the giving of His Body finally to YOU and ME!

This is simple because I believe.  Do you?  Think about it.  No more to say from me but, “LOVE of Jesus, His Only Begotten Son, of Our Father.”
